OSPF in 2.9.22 multipath/failover

Wed Apr 26, 2006 10:39 pm

Greetings Everyone,

Ok, I just wanted to check and see if anyone else is having any issues with 2.9.22 with OSPF, I have been using it primarily a backup. Everything worked fine with 2.9.20 and before, everything looked fine with 2.9.22 and I upgraded some of my routers and everything was good. Upgraded the rest and this one feature of OSPF seems to not be working. Also unable to equal cost load balance with OSPF which I could do before. I'm using the exact examples in the manual (page 106 aka page 119, last page of OSPF in the PDF file). And I am no longer able to switch the link by adjusting it's cost. Anyone else seeing this issue?

Do you have a network map of your network? OSPF needs more planning than RIP, but properly setup it works great. Get us some more information of how your network is setup and we can help get you started.

I don't have alot of time but I will do what I can to get you started. E-mail me the info at cdemers at govital dot net, and I will write up some instructions to get you started.
