Fast Path on a Bridge with wlan?

Fri Feb 21, 2014 1:12 pm

Hello,

I am running two Omnitiks as bridging APs. On each one of them, there is a bridge interface, bridging the wlan with one of the ethernets. Fast path appears disabled on both these bridge interfaces (/interface print detail), even though they use no ip firewall, no rules or any queues other that hardware ones.

Why is that? Is there any way of enabling fast path on these bridges?

It appears that fastpath is not supported on the Omnitik:
List of RouterBoards with FastPath support

RouterBoard Interfaces
RB6xx series ether1,2
RB7xx series all ethernets
RB8xx series ether1,2
RB9xx series all ethernets
RB1000 all ethernets
RB1100 series ether1-10,11
RB2011 series all ethernets and sfp
CCR series routers all ethernets and sfps
