I have a client that runs a web hosting service, and he is thinking about switching to Mikrotik. Currently I have installed one Mikrotik on a server that serves as a load balancer, and he is satisfied with its performance. He would also like to transfer to appliance, but he is afraid of DDOS attacks, and which router can withstand DDOS attacks of 1-2 Gbits? Maybe CCR1016-12G?
Also, does anyone runs Mikrotik in data-centers as kvm guests? His big concern is that we cannot install mt on raid drive...
