I have an x86 running v5.26 and NTP Server. However, it is not working. The NTP client on the machine is getting the time correctly from public NTP servers and has the correct time. However, when I have a v6.7 CCR trying to get time from it, I receive "server-not-synchronized."

Anyone know why this might be happening?

Check the NTP server firewall. Insure you allow UDP port 123 through.

It's not a firewall issue as we do see packets being returned to the CCR.

How long has the server been up? With the regular ntp.org server software, the server can have the right time, without declaring itself stable yet. Once the server thinks it has a good sync, you may be okay.

I recommend setting NTP debug logging in the CCR. Then reboot the CCR and check the log.

In another thread, normis says upgrade to V6.10 in your CCR.

The problem is the NTP server on the v5.26 server. We have the same issues to our other v5.26 routers as well. The CCR just provides better debugging.
