please upgrade the RouterOS to v6.10.
Disable the lte interface and then try to run the info command.

version of the modem - SWI9200X_03.05.24.00ap r5792 carmd-en-10527 2013/05/02 13:35:47
when I press info I get this (I have antenna connected to Main connector)
I get functionality -"minimum"

also - it will only work when I'm on Auto\GSM - way is it?

it shows minimum because it isn't enabled and connected to the network.
When the interface is enabled and connected to the network it will show full when you will do info command.

About the Auto mode I am not sure, check if your SIM card supports LTE operations and if it is enabled on the Mobile operator.

there is no need to specify that modem-init entry for this modem.
What firmware version are you using on the sierra card?

those are ok firmwares. Remove that modem-init entry and then check what you see in the logs.

It is Running already - now you just need to add a dhcp-client on the lte1 interface.

when the connection is established and running the info command on the lte interface should be running.
Check the log file what is reports when you try to run the info command.

from the logs it looks like the modem is locked up and not running and that is why the info doesn't work.
You can try to do the usb power reset if the board supports.

I am not sure why it is not working. Also providing some special user command as welll?
I have such firmware and info is working ok:
SWI9200X_03.05.24.00ap r5792 carmd-en-10527 2013/05/02 13:35:47

RB411u board doesn't have usb power reset
but you could try to reset the modem with AT command AT+CFUN=1,1

I didn't use any special user command- (if you mean AT command)
this is how I got it ,no change were made.

something is weird now -
I have remove the modem and then put it in again
and it show me the info for 5-6 seconds , then i got "modem didn't replay"
and again the info command isn't working
I have done soft reset and hard reset - nothing
just when I remove it from the RB it's working

and also - how can I use "AT Command"? I can't reach the modem using Serial
when I do
/system serial-terminal usb2 channel=0
I get nothing - can't write or anything

what could it be?

Hello,

the modem is recognized as a LTE interface - configure the lte1 interface and add a
dhcp client on it.
the ppp-interface for this modem is for the gps channel.

Regards,
Uldis
UPDATE You must upgrade your modem to latest firmware, get it from http://developer.sierrawireless.com/

All works without problems.

I have similar problems but I have Routerboard 912G. It is not reconized. Should it not show up under "interfaces" or "LTE" by itself?

I have tried (DIP)
SWI9200M_3.5-Release2-SWI9200X_03.05.14.00
SWI9200M_3.5-Release7-SWI9200X_03.05.23.02
SWI9200M_3.5-Release8-SWI9200X_03.05.24.00

type mini-PCIe

I show up as unknown...

What do I miss?

Thanks, that solved the problem. I also needed to change USB to Mini-PCIe under system -> Routerboard -> USB. I do not Think that it worked under the teminal window.
