Hello everyone. I have problems with configuring vpn tunnels on sattelite link, it has 600-800ms delay.
I tryed to configure all types of vpn and tunnels - pptp,sstp,l2tp,eoip but when link is established and bandtwidth test is started it works for 2 secs then speed is dropping until link is stuck. After a minute or so it completely disconnects even if test is off and then reesteblishes. Thing is when i use normal ground inet there is no problems at all. Moreover i have two mikrotiks - server and client, if i do mikrotik - mikrotik links is tears off, but mikrotik server - PC client works well on the same sattelite link!

Update all devices with 6.10 version.
It is not good to have different RouterOs versions on the network.

Or maybe downgrade all to 5.26 would be better for VPN, especially on less "stable" links.

This can also, i have no experience with vpn on routerboard.

No changes after update to 6.10 speed is crawling around 3-4Mbit in 10 mbit channel. No disconnects on l2tp, pptp. Disconnects on eoip,sstp.

The most problem with tcp it is not speed up more then 300kbit on 10 mbit link. UDP somewhere around 6-7mbit. Guys give you your guess..

Have you try it out with RouterOs 5.26?
