CCR1009 (or other) QoS?

Thu May 15, 2014 10:02 pm

I've been using the RB1200 for quite a while and I'm looking for something with a bit more punch.

How good is the CCR series at QoS queues? Are they significantly better than the 1200 or 1100ahx2?

Basically, I need a new core router for up to about 500Mbps. The CCR1009 specs say it's good for that routing, but what happens when a queue tree with IP based limits are used?

Are you going to oversaturate a port past line rate?
