1. Trying to boot from USB stick on HP DL160 server.
After "Loading system with initrd" it writes something like:
"Could not find disk. Try to insert it somewhere else"
This stick boots on every other PC or laptop, but there is a problem with server.
2. Even tried to use Plop Boot Manager - it does not see usb device. It helped me once to boot ROS on very old server without usb boot support.
But this time I've failed
3. Made a drive bootable via netinstall, it boots with syslinux and don't find disk again.
4. Tried to netinstall via PXE - it founds disk, but the software-id is changed, and I didn't installed it. But I think it don't help.
Maybe some other methods exists? Thinking about external PCI-E USB controller, but the slot is busy by network card..
I could install ROS on a hard drive, but I've already have L6 licence on this USB stick...
