Am I the only one who noticed that:
1. The gasket at the bottom is not seated properly, you can see how when the case was closed that the impression on it is not uniform. This is the gasket between the metal door.
2. The hole in which the rubber gasket for the Ethernet cable is supposed to sit in, does not have a CLEAN edge where the rubber gasket that wraps the Ethernet cable would of sat. IE there should be an area about 3 - 4 mm in a perfect ring that is clean, since the rubber gasket would of not allowed that sludgey stuff to even touch the metal case, and when it was removed, you would of seen this mark.
3. The gasket that is supposed to seal the Ethernet cable is the ONLY thing that is clean? why is there no sludgey goo on that?
Interpretation, the door was closed improperly causing the seat to deform, and the rubber around the Ethernet was either not installed properly, or at all.
Just a hunch
