How can I bind a certain IP / mac address to a hotspot user so that they do not have to physically login every time?

I know you can bypass by a mac address but then that data is not accounted for.

Is there a way and if so how do I go about doing it? This would make my life allot easier.

You can switch to MAC authentication and set their user name as the MAC address.

Can you elaborate on that?


So can I basically have the following scenario?

If an unknown mac occurs, user the Guest user profile is used,

Otherwise I can manually add / assign macs to different profiles?

Also, Could there be two mac addresses for one user profile?

Say Phone and laptop? Or Wireless / Wired adapter same user but different devices.
