/system clock get date = invisible

Typing the command /system clock get date
returns no value. Is it normal?
mikrotik version: 6.17/6.18

You do not specify what do with the date.

You want PUT on console one MESSAGE with the date inside?
:put message=[/system clock get date];

This can not be one answer for OP.

He ask why do not display anything that command, not how to display the date (and only the date...).
