Load balance with failover.

Fri Sep 12, 2014 2:36 pm

Hi everyone.

I've been trying to figure out what approach I should take to have a loadbalance and failover between MT-A and MT-B.
Assume both links are wireless PTP (none is mikrotik), one is 50Mbps and the other 280Mbps - so what I would love to be able to distribute the traffic over both links, where most of the traffic goes over the 280Mbps link (figures!).

Maybe it would be better to have a dedicated Mikrotik to in both ends of the 2 links?
Any suggestion for best approach? ...OSPF, Mangle..?

I just had similar issue. Working with this:

Load balance based on bandwidth with fail over.

I'm doing more testing on Monday.

Let us know how it goes.
