Please help me how to login to hotspot.

By my mistake I have add new bridged hotspot without setting new user and password.
I can't login to Webfig because hotspot ask me for user and password.
My webfig login and password don't work with hotspot.

What can I do not to reset my whole router and lose configuration ?
Is there any way to login to default user/pass to hotspot?

When you set up the first hotspot on that router, it asks for a user and password for a "default" user. What did you enter there? Same as the login for the router?

By setting first hot spot (this is first) I didn't set up user and password ;-(
After apply this settings of this first hot spot I just got login page to hotspot, and I don't know user/pass
Is there any default user/pass ?

So is there any chance to login without resetting whole config from the router ?

If you used "/ip hotspot setup", the default user and password are the last prompts. I don't see how you missed it.

The rest I guess depends on your WAN interface. That shouldn't be on the hotspot. How strong is your firewall on it?

Does the device have a serial port? If so, get a null modem cable, login there, and disable the hotspot.

Hi Mikrotikfan.
I'm experiencing this same issue. I created hotspot on a bridge without setting the password and username. Now I can't login. How did you resolve the issue?

Are you still able to connect to the router through MAC or IP using winbox -> Neighbors?

No, I can no longer connect through winbox as well. I assume the router has shut out all entry until I login to hotspot.

Oh thanks a lot. It worked and I'm in the router now. (winbox>neighbours)

Same problem here.

As soon as you enable hotspot you are booted out of the webconfig with no ability to log back in or access anything.

Winbox is no good as I’m on a mac.

Same problem here!

Just used webinterface to explore how it was and no access now.

What's up with programmers this days, nobody knows what is "user friendly" ?

If need a user/pass to login now it shouldn't let activate it, what a mess is going here.

Somebody know if it is possible to change the code of all hotspot, is RouterOS code open-source?

What's up with programmers this days, nobody knows what is "Safe Mode" ?

Even those who designed the hammer didn't make it ergonomic,
think,
if you don't know how to use it, you risk crushing your fingers!!!
And it doesn't have "Safe Mode"

What's up with users, especially professional ones, who are overhelmed with simple task without "wizards", "fancy touchouble apps" and other "bells&whistles"?
Keyboards get forgotten. Who wants voice recognition built into routers to let people to configure them?
