PPPOE SECRETS

Tue Jun 20, 2006 5:28 am

What is the best way to save a file of PPPOE secrets and Profiles to a file to be easily reloaded back into a RB (Router Board) or Server in case of a crash or worse, weather damage. I have a back-up server in stand-by in case of such emergency but the secrets are not up to date as I add and remove customer on a daily basis

not very efficient when your trying to recover from a crash. I was looking more on the lines of being able to export the file like you would a configuration back-up file. FTP it out and back in as needed. the list changes almost daily as I add and remove customers, to be able to do a back-up on each friday, the most I would loose is one weeks worth of changes. It just seems to me that as configurable as these router boards are that they would have something like that already set up.
