Do you plan to use MU-MIMO technology in your gear?

+1 for MU-MIMO support in RouterOS and a router with 8 chain (4x dual polar 90 degree sector antenna).

I think router with 8 chain (4x dual chain 90 degree sector antenna) is great suggestion for MU-MIMO outdoor device.

Would it be possible to get an RB 911 which has mini PCIe and integrated 2x2 wireless AC and add another 2x2 wireless AC card and bond them together to get 4x4?

Regarding new technologies the netgear R8000 and asus AC3200 have interesting methods when connected using multiple clients. The MU-MIMO seems to be a failure not sure if it is because of hardware or firmware. I believe their methods can be integrated into ROS without too much trouble..

But i thought for MU-MIMO the hardware must support it both AP and client? It might be good in a WDS/bridged setup where you have multiple APs thath ave MU-MIMO.

I would like to see something like an RB911 with high powered integrated AC wireless, SFP, some gigabit ports (not just 1), a good CPU capable of gigabit NAT, RAM, USB/ USB3, multiple miniPCIe ports and so on. The scorpion MIPS is capable of gigabit NAT if you can utilise the hardware acceleration in it.

With multiple miniPCIe ports could than make an AP/router that uses all available non overlapping channels in 5 Ghz for wireless AC in a non crowded 5Ghz wifi area.

not announcing products before they are ready is a good behavior. But this statement is very vague. We see announcements of upcoming .ac wave2 products. There seem to be a very promising technology step this year. MT should give a statement to make this step.

Unfortunately, the current integrated hardware offerings from Mikrotik in the field of 802.11ac are limited. For example there is nothing like the QRT with AC capabilities. Or a prebuilt Home/SOHO router with AC (or, even better, dual band). The customer has to revert to building a device by combining board, minipci card(s) and case. But then comes RouterOS, which still has limited support and unstable performance when it comes to 802.11ac.

I would want triple band MU-MIMO + XStream, so it has to be Broadcom.

I guess the 5GHz RB3011 will have to be quite inexpensive.
