Bandwidth setting on routerboard interface

Wed Jan 21, 2015 1:58 pm

According manual RX is only supported on AR8327 switch-chip ports. How can I find out what switch-chip my port has? Or is this not valuable on a SXT anyway?

How is this bandwidth limiter working? I've set 'only-hardware-queue' on the ether1 interface. And the 'Rate' is connected with 100Mbps Full Duplex.
Should I now still use the bandwidth limit setting if more than 100Mb of trafic wants to pass router?

I don't seem to understand the use of the 'Bandwidth' limiter. Why limit a 100Mbps connected ethernet port to less speed?
