Billing software with Radius support

Wed Mar 11, 2015 9:41 pm

I'm looking for a good solution here, I've been given a budget of 10 grand or less. Since we have a mixed variety of client devices radius would work the best for us and rather than a seperate system I'd really like a billing solution that has it built in. What are you all using?

We used billmax at a previous job of mine. (company still exists - I just got a better job, haha)

I think my experience with it was not the best one - it wasn't set up like the software was designed to be, but even so, it seemed to do pretty well.

If you are a typical Wireless ISP, off the top of my head:

http://freeside.biz/freeside

http://wispmon.com

http://powercode.com

http://visp.net

http://azotel.com

http://ispbilling.com

http://billmax.com

There are probably other options.

If you just want to do hotspot billing, there are other packages focused on that. I think you can also use at least some of the above packages for hotspots, but have no personal experience with hotspots.

I use wispmon, but in addition to the above there's swiftfox.
