Hi folks, I have a medium setup consists of :-

{CCR1009-8G-1S-1S+} Connected to 2 internet lines: 20MB & 30MB, 3 Ubiquity (UNIFI AP's) and 1 normal TP-Link access point they are covering decent area of the building without interference. We have almost 70 devices are connected all the time.

The system was up for one month without any issues!, last two week I've implemented a timer disconnect the modems and the Mikrotik ROS everyday from 3 am till 6 am.

I've added a script to shutdown the RouterOS everyday 5 mins before the timer disconnect the electricity.

After implementing the TIMER, everyday I have some users complains about the unsuitability of the internet, it disconnects for a few mins then come back several times a day!!

Do you think I should remove theTIMER? Or what is the solution?

Why are you using a timer to disconnect power every day? All those power cycles can't be good for the router and the modems.

Maybe because he wants to save the planet.
