RB951G-2HnD Drops wi-fi connections

Mon Jun 01, 2015 5:29 pm

Hi everybody!

We've bought Mikrotik RB951G-2HnD in our company (about 20 - 25 clients in network) with 50 Mbps channel from the ISP-side.
Mikrotik Wireless drops connection from time to time as often as more people are connected via Wi-Fi:

The current configuration is following:

What point should we start to diagnose and solve this problem?

Thank you!

I'm having the same issues. My connection from my ISP isn't nearly as high though. As my Wi-Fi gets over 25 users, other machines start disconnecting. I am also using a RB951G-2HnD with RouterOS 6.33.2.

Make sure your DHCP pool isn't being exhausted - are these always the same clients? Otherwise, you could have leases out to clients no longer connected. If this is the case, decrease the lease time, or use a script to remove the lease upon disassociation from the wireless side.

Use channel width only 20mhz and not 20/40.
try with wmm disable. The setting appear when u press advance button.
Security use only wpa2 aes and not tkip.
Which package you use? Wireless-cm2 or wireless-fp?
