NAT to remote office network.

Mon Jul 06, 2015 2:31 pm

Hi Gurus,

My network in office is 192.168.1.0 and I have ipsec tunnel to other office 192.168.5.0 how to nat WAN IP to 192.168.5.0. 192.168.1.0 and 5.0 can see each other and I can easily create NAT rules for 1.0, but if I create for 5.0 then I see syn sent. I'm missing some kind of route or smth. somewhere.

Gr,

Rando.

Try pure routing. Why would you need nat?

NAT to remote office network.

I meant that there is no need to make address translation by nat because you can use the real ip addresses directly even from the other network address range if your routers know the routes and send the traffic thru the right tunnel if it belongs to that network. The corresponding routes should be set in opposite way too.
