Downgrade routerBoot 3.22 to an earlier release

Fri Jul 17, 2015 7:59 am

Hello,

I acquired an RB1100AHx2 lately, the board comes pre-installed with routerBoot 3.22 wih routeros 6.29, I tried to downgrade to an older release by uploading an older firmware 3.18 or an older routeros 6.15 without success, it seems that this new routerBoot release prevent board to return to an older firmware.

Has anybody hit this issue ? is there a workaround ?

Thank you.

What possible reason do you have for changing the bootloader? It does not affect RouterOS operation.

HI normis,

For some technical reason, I would like to use routeros v5, the quick setup guide state that it is compatible with v5. but I tried everything to downgrade without success.
