.. would be great to have also a 6.36 branch update/fix. I guess I'm not the only one keeping all 5ghz radio there to skip new forced radar stuff (waiting untill very stable)

When do you plan to allow certificate authorities generated outside of the Mikrotik device to be recognized as trusted CA?

Hello,

we are using The Dude on CHR (x86_64) Router with VMware Esxi 5.1.0

VM has 2048 MB RAM and 4 Cores (2 virtual sockets, 2 cores per socket).

I can see that this version of Dude has much bigger Datastore usage in comparison with 6.36.4 and the response is slow.

Has anyone the same problems?

For example, with previous version, average Datastore usage was 815 KBps currently average is 4074 KBps.

Best regards,

is there any have been tried using PPPoE Server on 6.37.5 in CCR1036 ?
i feel there's drop performance related to speed when using CCR1036.
comparing to CCR1072 in using 6.37.5 and test it, until now is normal performance.

but after downgrade to 6.37.4 for CCR1036, everything back to normal.

thank you ?

Not sure if this belongs to this thread .
Installed v6.37.5.
Input:
:put [:if ([:find "Canada/Edmonton" "/"]=6) do={:put "works"}]
output:
works
;works
I'm puzzled at what I'm seeing in the terminal. How can this output be explained?
Is this a bug?
Thanks,

You just do it wrong :) Well, let's call it 'undefined behaviour'

:if operator does not return anything, so you cannot use it as a 'result'. for example, you cannot use ":put [:if <...>]" construction. you should use ":if (something) do={ :put XXX; }"

I think that this version has problems with:
  • - Winbox session can't be established
    - The Dude has massive Datastore usage
    - There is no way to upload file in "The Dude -> Files"

installed 6.37.5 to hap lite, update routerboot, playing around, decided to go back to older version but netinstall can't recognize. enter winbox > routerboard > setting > ethernet boot once then nand, netinstall not responding. press reset then powering for 15s doing nothing too. last thing i uploaded all npk to files then select downgrade os, downgrade routerboot, then test netinstall again, it works.
Edit: test upgrade again, then downgrade using netinstall 6.37.5 with older version npk files. it works. so the problem is newer routerboot wont work with older netinstall :(

Copying files across via Winbox drag 'n drop seems to work ok. I recall reading that is the way forward now. No more drag and drop with the Dude Client.

Upgraded to 6.37.5 on all my Cloud Router Switches. On Switch-->VLAN, comments get erased from the "In. VLAN Tran." and on the "Eg. VLAN Tran." tabs after winbox exit. The VLAN tab however retains all it's comments after exit. I haven't tried comments on other tabs since I don't use them. Happens on both my CRS-125-24G-1S and CRS-226-24G-2S+. Bug?

(Edit)
Downloaded the latest winbox just in case, no change. It still erases comments after exit. VLAN tab retains comments.

In firewall Filter if you don't allow connection-nat-state=dst-nat connections in input/forward chain
and at the end you use a Drop all other connection for input/forward

My dst-nat connections from WAN are working and I am sure they didn't work at the past.
Can someone confirm this.

From default configuration remove the connection-nat-state
5 ;;; default configuration
      chain=forward action=drop connection-state=new
      connection-nat-state=!dstnat in-interface=ether1-gateway log=no
      log-prefix=""

Hello, i´m having a strange issue with this version on a RB3011UiAS.
On switch chip 2 there is port flapping. There is no apparent cause for doing so, i found in another thread that it was due to loop protect so i disabled it in all switch 2 ports and the problem remains.
I my configuration all switch 2 ports are switched and not bridge members.
This is the image from the master port with te link downs, uptime and link up.

Thanks!

Emerson.

'export' command is not including the wireless SSID as expected on RBSXTG-5HPnD-HGr2 with an nstreme network configured/connected/working.

/interface wireless
set [ find default-name=wlan1 ] band=5ghz-onlyn channel-width=20/40mhz-Ce country="united states" disabled=no \
frequency=auto frequency-mode=regulatory-domain mode=bridge radio-name=TEST \

Re: v6.37.5 [bugfix] is released!

I'm using NPS to authenticate Dude users which works great on 6.36.4. However, since upgrading to 6.37.5 or current, I can't authenticate the users via NPS any more.
In version 6.36.4, the dude was using ms-chapv2 against radius but in the newer version it is trying to use md5-chap which is disabled in AD (reversible encryption).

Is it possible to change to ms-chapv2? This is a fairly important function as I have many users logging in.

This appears to be a dude issue but not a routeros issue as i'm able to authenticate to the router but not the dude with 6.37.5.

Thanks

Hello there,
Is it possible to downgrade the router to the former version, since that one doesn't allow to use a browser as a configuration interface?
If yes, how? I see only upgrade, no choice?
Thanks

  • Download the package(s) from https://mikrotik.com/download/archive
  • Upload the package(s) to the device (drag/drop in Winbox / ftp / ssh)
  • Go to System / Packages / click 'Downgrade' (or run /system package downgrade in cli)
(Not sure what's wrong with your device though.. webfig should work as before)
