MikroTik script checking for updates every hour and sending mail I guess. You can't get update notification faster than that lol...

I'm using VTel Wireless and would buy a Mikrotik CPE unit for LTE service if it were available on the bands in use: 4, 12, 17, and 41 (preferred).

Yes, you'll get a lot of request on this band (B42) because,it is arguably one of the lowest cost LTE band globally with quite a number of regulators in most countries opening it up for license now. However I just wrote a piece on the way forward here viewtopic.php?f=7&t=144428&p=714934#p714934 For the majority of Mikrotik users on unlicensed fixed wireless, B46 (also known as 5ghz small cell (LTE-U and/or LAA) will bring the true value to most unlicensed users. For InterCell, Mikrotik should be looking at B42/B43 I think.

Is it possible that Marvell® Prestera® is the future choice for the CCR-line ?

One use case for InterCell would be on the ships in international waters so to eliminate phones doing excessive sync and cloud backups over satellite uplink.
Most phones are set not to do such traffic while in roaming so this would eliminate need to block such traffic.
Hope this starts to add on ideas...

Where could I get more info on what would be needed to use these LTE stations in such scenario?
What is provided and what is missing?
