Still no LHGR XL with 1GbE with M.2 - we wait at that series of SXTR/LDF and new D53iGR without wifi to replace M11G & M33G !

When RouterOS 7 officially gets released, will the speed test results be updated for v7? Or will speeds be posted for both v6 and v7?

the latest Linux Kernel 5.6.3 featuring new up-to-date
driver and security options
Does this mean in ROS7 are also new/improved Wifi drivers used?
By the way, what about some Wifi 6 product announcements?

Hi Weiwei, I stand corrected, it being a hapac wifi device I was looking at wifi devices for the home. Perhaps if I may be permitted to ask it to be located in two different spots on the hardware pages.

+1 for WiFi6
Should we expect to see a wAP ac2 soon with WiFi6 or alternatively specs similar to Audience and with higher gain antennas – 3.5 - 4.5dbi for 2.4Ghz and 4.5dbi for the 4x4 5.8Ghz with similar or better receive sensitivities. There could be potential applications for an 'outdoor Audience' with similar meshing capabilities.

+WIFI6 and an updated WAP AC model!! [Wap AC2??]

I really enjoy the WAP AC [RBwAPG-5HacT2HnD-US]. But really could use better wifi gain and sesnativities. As 5Ghz drops off very quickly, short distances. I have a few deployed and will continue to purchase.

The CAP AC model I had to return those.. Ran way too hot with the ARM CPU's and brick themselves.. WAP AC model is superior [can also use outside!]

MikroTik doesn't give us any idea about Wi-Fi6. The subject is MikroTik employee Normis, but does not respond to its own forum members. I don't think this has a logical explanation.

At least, MikroTik needs to share its road plan for Wi-Fi6 with business partners. We must share with us what he thinks about this subject and what he will do so that we will know whether we will have to use the products of different brands.

FYI - I just ordered and received a new wAP AC device, seems it was recently revised??? Included a new GBPOE injector. No more rubberized feel [new look is dark gray and white] and input voltage is now to -57v [prior were 48v].

box had new sticker 'X001A2AHLF' RBWAPG-5HACT2HnD

What is going on?

Just making note the included POE injector is different design and markings on it. Need me show a picture?

None of the new MikroTik newsletter depicted this GBPOE adapter. Also the wAP Ac box had a 'NEW' sticker. So perhaps a change from MikroTik?? or fake??

I thought it was about the RB itself - the color and input voltages.
So the injector is all that has been changed?

that is appeears to be true. Powered up the wAP AC and all appears normal. Same CPU speed, specs, etc.

Hi Normis we love the CWDM stuff as its allowed to expand some of our old 4 core SM runs to run some offices directly and avoid piggy backing on other offices for data uplink. We had to import cwdm equipment directly before and it usually arrived late and sometimes faulty.Dealing with a credit card with big amounts such as that was a nightmare.

Any chance you guys might look at higher capacity 16 CH units ?

Also good on you guys for hopefully improving those POE injectors , I've had lots of them die in the field . I just wish you guys would rather follow Ubnt style design of the injector as it avoids that terrible barrel connector , and the thin wires look very unneat without velcro/cable tying everything down.

Hi,

Netpower16 is very welcome addition.

Do we have anything new concerning the CSS610-8P-2S+,announced during MUM2019.
This one would still perfectly fill a need between 5 ports PowerBox and 16 ports Netpower16.

Best regards

Actually latest is 5.7.6, and latest 5.6 is 5.6.19 which is EOL by the way ... so I wonder why not 5.4 which is longterm maintenance release and will be supported to 2025 unless WireGuard is planned which was introduced in 5.6 (although WireGuard is also back-ported to 5.4) ...

I would like to ask about gpen21. Does the communication between ether2 and SFP work? I can't get it up and running. Between ether1 and ether2 it's OK. It's also OK between SFP and ether1, but when I want to communicate directly between ether2 and sfp it doesn't work.

I face the same issue while testing. I'm looking for this as a feature - Is suspect it's a software function? We are looking to FTTH and PoE power Ruckus H510 with these.

I'm going to open a support case.
