Excellent news. I can imagine the profile this issue had within MicroTik and its impact on staff.

I think this is not a good thing to do. You should put your company name and a contact address in there, not a personal address but some role account that is forwarded internally to the responsible people.
Also it would be advisable to setup a webpage at mynetname.net and www.mynetname.net that explains the purpose of the domain and the fact that the subdomains and hostnames are in no way related to eachother.
And of course (if you do not already have that), have some way of quickly disabling individual entries in the DDNS table so you can comply with takedown requests without making them escalate to the next higher level.

I wrote up a blog post about rolling your own remote access here: https://thaea.software/having-trouble-w ... te-access/ if you don't want to rely on mynetname.net. Bonus: it works with NAT and doesn't require public IP!

Thank you for immediate response to the problem. A serious company with quality products which i use to power the internet and communications at my city. From public services to hotels and offices. Wherever there is a router it has to be a mikrotik.

Very nice... The same way i use for management of routerboards. They make a call to a mine so they dont need a public ip but only my router. For someone who has a static ip works like a charm without cloud dns enabled.

Even with this solution (which we kind of use in a large router, not for remote management but to connect a large number of client routers to a central router), I still would recommend to use a DNS name instead of a fixed IP address in the client router configs.
Register a domain when you have not already done so (for your company or for yourself e.g. to handle your mail) and use a name like vpnrouter.yourdomain.com with an A and/or AAAA record holding the address of your central router.
That will make things a lot easier when you have to change IP address at some time (like we currently have to...)!
Domain registration and hosting of a simple DNS server with web-based editing is cheap.

Great job! And what about this? Both of NS servers of mynetname.net have the same IPv4 address? Isn't this a non-RFC use case?
This is what I get, is your DNS OK?
normis@d:~$ host ns1.kissthenet.net
ns1.kissthenet.net has address 159.148.147.201
ns1.kissthenet.net has IPv6 address 2a02:610:7501:1000::201
normis@d:~$ host ns2.kissthenet.net
ns2.kissthenet.net has address 159.148.172.251
ns2.kissthenet.net has IPv6 address 2a02:610:7501:4000::251

For me, whois and DNS query are both saying that nameservers for mynetname.net are ns1.kissthenet.net and ns2.kissthenet.net ... and both name servers have different addresses:

user@host:~$ for H in $( whois mynetname.net | grep ^Name | awk '{ print $3 }'); do host $H; done
ns1.kissthenet.net has address 159.148.147.201
ns1.kissthenet.net has IPv6 address 2a02:610:7501:1000::201
ns2.kissthenet.net has address 159.148.172.251
ns2.kissthenet.net has IPv6 address 2a02:610:7501:4000::251
user@host:~$ dig NS mynetname.net

Yes, my DNS is out of order. I am sorry.
Oh, is non-RFC compliant?

Don't you expect a bit of sarcasm?
First you even complain about the RFCs,
and then you discover that the problem is yours...

You gave me the assist... :)))
