cAP 2n looks sweet.

Just curious about the possibility of switching off and on the leds of signal and power to completely blend with the environment?
ALL leds can be customized, or turned off. the leds are a very weak green color, not very annoying :)

RouterOS has always been capable of roaming, this is not related to product model. So yes, cAP and any other MikroTik device, is capable of seamless roaming

I believe the part you missed was "can cAP 2N do roaming with easy like Unifi ?"

I guess that impliess their "zero-handoff". Marketting is awesome (/sarcasm).

No, Mikrotik does not do SCA or zero handoff, but so what? Plan your channels better and you will have success. Rather mikrotik can support 802.11r or even better 802.11k to assist with roaming.

Even meru are moving away from single channels.

RouterOS doesn't support zero-handoff, but the client roaming between the APs should work ok.

Our routers have been used in high speed trains, where they connect to AP devices nearby tracks, and change the AP very often. They have also been used for VOIP phones in moving cars. The voice connection is not interrupted when the device changes APs.

What is the mechanism to roam between APs seamless. The laptops I use need some time to check signal is to low to do a good connection and decide to change ap and then they need some time to switch to another AP even using the same SSID on a bridged network.

You need special wifi-clients or software to make this seamless?

You can implement access list where the laptop will be kicked off, if the signal falls below a defined value. Laptop will then immediatelly connect to the strongest SSID.

Windows wireless clients usually switch to a AP with better signal seamlessly. Also on some wireless drivers there is a roaming aggressiveness settings.

That new fiber media converter looks interesting. I'd like to see one with the SFP and patch cable installed. Looks like not much room for slack or fastening the drop cable. I'd really like it if that had even some basic management/remote abilities. I'm sure it'll all happen in good time, but I'm impatient.

Why did you make them look like smoke alarms? That's not a selling point. Look is half the reason we use the Unifi gear.

i'm really curious about new mikrotik indoor APs. i recently bought some unifi APs. And i'm disappointed regarding the possibility in terms of configurations. With routeros i've so much more options.

Bring on the DualBand AP. I am sick to death of taking over UniFi installs.

Take price of any competitor device with same specification, divide by 5 and you have a price point. :)
