RouterOS v6.23.1 special release

Tue Dec 09, 2014 9:05 am

6.23.1 version has x86 driver firmware fixes (few old Network Interface Cards might not work properly).
Update is not needed for RouterBOARD users.

x86 all-in-one package,

x86 all packages,

Is this release specific to an issue/driver introduced in v6.23, or are there previous potentially effected firmware versions?

I think, a man who decided to upgrade without testing should pay :)

It was stable in their test environment, so no one intentionally published a "buggy version as stable".

they produce RouterBoards, not Intel cards, and that version surely works on RouterBoards ;)

This is a forum where people post their problems. Very, very, very rarely you would see posts with success stories. It is an irony of life actually, you would notice a device exits when it gives problems :)
