Powerbox with gigabit and 8 ports would really be big PLUS. 4 port PoE box comes too late for professional user and has no use for amateur.

Anybody any rumours about new ac versions for Sextant, QRT, OmniTik? All it needs is other boards... maybe on the Prague MUM???
Do we need to wait long?

hAP lite, nice unit. Nice start but really need 27-30dBm just to withstand signals form soup of 3rd party domestic signals.... Or make fitting for external 3dB omni antennas. This unit has little use...

Mikrotik is really starting to run behind with hardware upgrades.... if they are serious in supplying wireless into the future... (Routers ans Switches doing fine...)
I really hope to see some real new hardware on the 10 year MUM anniversary!

And what happens with the new NetMetal's? I ordered them in December and yet today again got the answer more delays... maybe March!
This from a mayor distributor in Poland that has a long time relation with MikroTik.

Please, MT, get your production lines working and bring us more upto date stuff. The competition is not sleeping....

+1000 obviously

Surely this is better: (the name are fake, the product actually not exist... I think...)
RB951GPW-n / RB991GPW-n = 10-30V 10A SWITCH 5 or 9 ether PoE out usable to use at the same time 5 or 9 NetMetal, plus internal little wi-fi for programming or servicing the tower without go up or disconnect the gigabit port of the NetMetal.
With one FAKE ETHERNET PORT FOR USE ALL 8 CABLE AS PoE IN FOR THE SWITCH.

All the time 4 x 90° Sector + 1 P2P = 5 Gigabit Port, with only 4 PoE out port on 100M switch...
or 4 x 90° Sector + 1 P2P + 1P2P on another direction (or backup) = 6 Gigabit Port.

No one like this idea ??? ;)

Protected RouterBOOT

What would be the procedure for those who are using this function and forget the password? How is made the full format of the RB?

If you forget the password, you must hold the reset button for the set number of seconds. for example you set this number to 60, then if can't log into RouterOS, hold button for 60 seconds and NAND + RAM will be wiped. Netinstall mode will turn on, and you will need to install RouterOS

Use less punctuation marks. Yelling doesn't make people feel like they want to help you.

Besides -

It isn't a problem - it is SSL doing its job.
Read this thread to see why...

If Mikrotik could intercept https:// without the browser knowing something is wrong, then this is called a "man in the middle attack." Mikrotik would become the most popular tool of hackers/phishing scammers.

technically not jus/only Mikrotik-Branded/made devices, but ANY networking gear.
thats why, among other things, targeting CPE/routers/AP become popular by botnets.
similarly US Gov use both eavesdropping and redirection features, covertly-installed in ANY devices permitted to b sold in NA and/or using US-controlled IP(including 95% crypto, and used SoC hardware/firmware portions/sdk).
good thing is CPE vulnerability - wasn't really frequent thing on explots/holes black market. atlest not yet.
thats why important to fix them ASAP.
