Can you please add CPU and RAM usage like in initial version. In current its not available. Can we add files via app?We have started working on an Android utility that gives you ability to configure your router more conveniently, while on the go.
Let us know how it works for you, and what you think about it.
EDIT: new way to download. Just one link: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/co ... oid.tikapp
This bug has been fixed and wireless scan should work in next version. As reported in ticket wireless scan is broken in this version getting error "Object does not exist"
Quick resource overview will be aviable in upcoming versions. Can you please add CPU and RAM usage like in initial version. In current its not available. Can we add files via app?
Version 0.0.13 and earlier used same plugin files for all RouterOS versions which may cause wrong fields showing up in menus.Hi.
I upgraded to the latest version. it was a BIG mistake. In the 0.0.13, app started very fast, I pushed Connect and I'm in. In 0.0.16 I got an "Downloading plugins" line for about a minute... It isn't too cheap on mobile internet. And it seems not cached. If I tried again to log into the same router, it downloaded again.. and again... Please give back the speed for us and don't download if unnecessary. (It wasn't needed in 0.0.13 ?)
Another BUG: in the LOG menu, I seen the oldest and not the newest entries.. with 1000 line in log, it isn't fun to search the recent entries.
So I rolled back to the latest STABLE release: 0.0.13

Still no fixed on version 0.0.38On Lenovo Vibe P1 is workin good but 1 problem found. When import adreses (from adress.wbx file) and when i want to connect to adres from imported list it always show my first conection . Example my first conection is 192.168.0.1 and i want to connect to 192.168.0.6 from imported list but always return 192.160.0.1 (firs connection)
[*]When a user navigate between menu items on the side bar, he arrives on the submenu (i.e.: "IP" then "Firewall"), then he lands on the corresponding first tab in winbox. Where are other tabs? On the three points icon on the other side of the screen. This is not intuitive, and the icon is too small for a thumb. Why don't you consider it as a 3rd level submenu on the sidebar? Or you use a swiper system (like leafing through pages of a book) Swiper correspond with the tab concept when transposing a desktop interface with a mobile one.[/list]

As this app uses port 8291 and not the MAC address, it will not work with port 80 only devices.Connect to wireless SSID “MikroTik” and open http://192.168.88.1 in your web browser.
The username is admin and there is no password. In case IP connection is not available, the
Winbox utility can be used to connect to the MAC address of the device.
near the address field there is a button - it opens the least of connections. at this least the button (looks like spanner) opens menu with import and export.anyone now how to import address and password into the app?
it is a text file (passwords are also in clear text)Yea I got that... What format does the file need to be in?
some symbols i can't read (i don't know the format)OK, now what format? spaces, coma newline for next device?
ipaddress, user, password, note ?
1.1.1.1, admin, admin, test
Hint:Yea I got that... What format does the file need to be in?
Sniff all the data that come in and out of your android device and see if it tries to connect to anywhere else beside your router. If this app is not open source how can one be sure that data and access to routers are not logged, shared, or misused?
What is the guarrantee here to expose oneself to a third private party?
This is a serious concern.
Android is a virusI have to admit that it is a bit oxymoron to have "serious" concerns about 3rd party data exposure when you use android which is pretty much spyware on its own
Here is it: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/co ... oid.tikappSomeone please point me a place for a genuine latest version.
Current Tikapp is basically a Winbox copy. What else did you expect?I am sorry to say, but I really do not like the Tikapp at all... It would be much nicer to have something that looks much more like winbox available for Android and iOS.
By the way, I cannot find current wifi interface frequency - it's on Status page of WinBox, and in TikApp, there's no 'Channel' line in Status tab.Current Tikapp is basically a Winbox copy. What else did you expect?

It's "auto"wlan1 > Wireless > Frequency
as I said, and also the Channel info in the Status tab

There is no problem.Well, current version is quite stable. If it's unstable for you - please write to support@mikrotik.com with detailed description of your problem.
+1any news about IOS version?
.Possible improvements:
- Would be great if you could select your own "favorites" and add to home screen from what you want to look at quickly (like "queue tree" for example).
Or like sub pages from IP / firewall etc.
- Also on the first screen (CPU load etc.) show directly last critical issue the system logged ?
Would allow to be faster/more productive with the app

@filipelias Your Firmware(BootLOADER) need an update, not software(RouterOS)Hi, I like the design overhaul a lot. I've noticed a few bugs. On the main screen after logging in, the app is prompting me to update to the latest version, but I have already the latest version. Here are a few screenshots:

Yes, I'm facing the same issue asi you are. Stuck at "Downloading plugins" and in the MTik log is shown "user admin has logged in from %IP% via tikapp" and after few second "... logged out..."Hi, I just bought a new phone with the android one thing, a Xiaomi MI A2 Lite, running android 8.1.0, on my last phone the app was working great, but on this one I'm able to log in to any equipment except CCR's. It gets stuck on "Downloading plugins" and if I check the log it says that I successfully logged in and then logged out from tik app. Anyone else having this problem? I already tried clearing the cache and reinstalling the app, also checked all the permissions and allowed unrestricted access to internet on the app. Tried it from my home network and from LTE.
UPDATE: The strange thing is, that with the same phone and same Tik App I'm able to connect to my newly bought and configured RB951G-2HnD. So it looks like there is einther some missconfiguration or incompatibility between RB750Gr3 and Tik App. I tried second RB750Gr3 and get stuck at the same point "Downloading plugins", so it looks like that it would be some incompatibility than misconfiguration.Yes, I'm facing the same issue asi you are. I've tried to add a simple FW input rule form my MAC but without success, neither over LAN nor WAN (LTE).
Does anyone succesfully resolve this issue?

BTW, I found that enabling Internet detect shows graphs of your WAN interfaces =)I can't care less about kid control or internet detect, these are just taking space.

Ahh, that explains it. I wasn't using deaf in the literal sense but in the context of not paying attention. Although I don't know why I am explaining this in text as you cannot read.I AM NOT DEAF I ONLY CAN'T READ.
I would rather not have to join the botnet just for the privilege of seeing interface graphs...BTW, I found that enabling Internet detect shows graphs of your WAN interfaces =)I can't care less about kid control or internet detect, these are just taking space.

Have you used a smartphone before? The mechanism is identical to any other app on your phone. Make sure Google Play or AppStore (depends on your phone model) is checking for software updates. If you need assistance, you can always ask a younger family member.
My post has nothing to do with getting the APP. It has everything to do with making sure the APP is up to date and informing MT users which is the latest app version.
Too funny, that is exactly how I get most of my 'how to use my phone' information!! Stay tuned.Have you used a smartphone before? The mechanism is identical to any other app on your phone. Make sure Google Play or AppStore (depends on your phone model) is checking for software updates. If you need assistance, you can always ask a younger family member.

For example my APP was on version 0.24. I was fat dumb and happy. NO INDICATIONS were provided UNLIKE other apps, that my app was out of date or that updates were available.
Just for giggles today I went to the APP store and saw the APP. Didnt see any version number but downloaded it again just for shits and giggles. I was UNPLEASANTLY surprised that he version went to 1.0.1.
Thus two things come to the fore.
a. the APP is not auto-updating or at least not informing users that there is an update available (which all my other apps do).
b. there is no visible means for me to know what is the latest app version available and probably should be using.
Update: not in the Beta channel anymore and if you are on Beta, install again after leaving the Beta channel in the Play Store.v1.1.5
• Show if wireless interface is managed by CAPsMAN
• Added "Limited Access" tag to internet detect
• Show remove config option after config is reset
• Bring ordered by field value to top of item cell
.
.
I uninstalled the APP and installed it again but is still stating beta on the APP page and shows up in my beta list in the Play Store.Neither of the two apps are in Beta anymore. Delete them, and install them again from the regular stores, if you still see the beta.

Probably it is different for Android, but I have not left the beta and I'm on 1.1.5.Well the above posters already gave a hint. You have joined a private beta program and installed that invite-only version. You should delete it, delete the "TestFlight" app which manages the Beta programs, and then install the application that is meant for everyone (the one in the AppStore).

You should delete it, delete the "TestFlight" app which manages the Beta programs, and then install the application that is meant for everyone (the one in the AppStore).
I will eventually leave the beta, but I'm traveling with bad connectivity, and the threat to lose all my settings was enough to stop me holding the button

Fully agreed, last versions are good!Just wanted to chime in that the APP is working great ---> Router accessed remotely via IKEv2 connection to get to the router and then access APP once internal to the router.

There are two big buttons next to each other: "SAVE" and "CONNECT"and there is no option to save current connection.
Thank you. I really wonder how can I miss this really big button "SAVE".There are two big buttons next to each other: "SAVE" and "CONNECT"

It works! Todays update to 1.0.11 fixes the problem.JanezFord: Update your app to version 1.0.11 if you cannot connect to ROS >= 6.45:

I am running 6.45.1 ... I do not dare to upgrade to 6.45.2 due to SPF+ problems on 4011. I use SPF+ port for WAN.Upgrade your RouterOS too, the authentication process is different in new versions
Antitrust? You can't have the cake and eat it
Why should Apple decide how an Android application is distributed?Ask Apple
I updated the link (the app is out of testing for some time already), but generally you should just search for "MikroTik" in Play Store or Apple Store. The link doesn't seem to be working for me for some reason?
@normis -> Is this something that was overlooked with iOS ? Is this something we will see in the future?IOS app v1.0.11 :
1. Kid Control is currently still missing in the IOS app v1.0.11. It is not possible to add it to the main screen. When will it be implemented ?
I am facing the same issue and it is driving me crazy, the issue is there since 3 routerOs upgrades(stable versions always) and 2 iOS app upgradesUPDATE2:UPDATE: The strange thing is, that with the same phone and same Tik App I'm able to connect to my newly bought and configured RB951G-2HnD.
I've tried to add a simple FW input rule form my MAC but without success, neither over LAN nor WAN (LTE).
Does anyone succesfully resolve this issue?
Both RB750Gr3 are running version RouterOS 6.42.6, RB951G-2HnD is running 6.43.12
I'M REALLY DUMB!
Dealing with problem that has been resolved. I have just one advise for all in here - KEEP YOUR DEVICE UP TO DATE!
Upgrading RB to latest version and problem resolved...
tools> adv mode then you will have group filed where you can add/create a groupHow do I associate a saved router with a group? If I do as little as edit the name of a saved router, it gets saved into the "No group" group. I can delete the router entry, but I can't move it up or down, and there's nowhere to specify the group on the page where one adds or edits routers (login).
I don't have a "tools." I have a gear, which opens up to Settings, and there is nothing there about either an advanced mode or groups (I had checked it previously for a groups control).tools> adv mode then you will have group filed where you can add/create a groupHow do I associate a saved router with a group? Are you sure there's no?.. At least in Android version we have one.Since there's no terminal in the app, what do people do instead?
There's no Terminal (or New Terminal) in the top-level menu, and no Telnet in the Tools menu. Maybe it's hidden somewhere else, but it's not where it would be in Winbox. Are you sure there's no?.. This is rather annoying, as you can't just use the app to monitor router for a longer time. Yesterday I wanted to watch log output, but App always froze after a minute (just stopped displaying new log entries) and then when I touched the display it disconnected. App was running in the foreground all the time, with screen on. So why not keep connection alive like desktop winbox does? I have to constantly do something with the App otherwise connection timeouts... stupid. The app doesn't stay connected to the router when you don't use it
I just installed the Tikapp for IOS on my iPhone8 and from what I can see it does not have anywhere near the functionality of Winbox ??? in fact the functionality is very limited. What am I missing?Current Tikapp is basically a Winbox copy. What else did you expect?
If the boys in Latvia are answering questions these days, I'm still waiting for an answer to this one.How do I associate a saved router with a group? My MikroTik app seems to have silently grown a new option for "Group" and "Note" in the save dialog box, so that's no longer a lack.If the boys in Latvia are answering questions these days, I'm still waiting for an answer to this one.How do I associate a saved router with a group? Plus another one: I can create new firewall rules in the app, but I can't move them into the proper positions. They won't drag, and I can't find any control anywhere in either the Filters or the Rule panels that lets me type in an absolute numeric position like the CLI has.
Can you share the process of deleting a Device. How do you delete saved device/group from app?
EDIT: Nevermind, noob on IOS, found it.
