RB912 UAG-2HPnD SIM Card Problem

Tue Oct 20, 2015 8:05 pm

Hi all,

we use some RB912UAGs with HUAWEI ME909u-521. Now we have the Problem, that the Modem repeats ERROR 13 when the Router sends AT+CPIN. The Board and the sim card, lte modem are all new.

The Sim Card is working in a normal phone. PIN is disabled.

Can anybody help or has a idea?

edit: whe tried diffrent Versions of RouterOS like 6.11, 6.28. and 6.32.3.

Are you using nano/micro SIM with adapter :?

If yes try to use adapter with plastic back like this one http://i1093.photobucket.com/albums/i42 ... s/B1-1.jpg

And try to take out sim card form metal holder and carefully push in middle of holder, then reinsert.

I've got a couple of RB912's that have lost their 3G connections(using Ericsson f5521 + MC8705's). Just getting one ready to replace a failed RB912 unit and found it would not read a SIM using an adaptor. Pressing in the metal surround of the SIM holder has fixed it. Heads up for anyone else having problems with these devices and thanks for the info - has saved a lot of mucking around!

Cheers
