FCC Certification

Sat Dec 19, 2015 11:41 pm

Recently in a training I heard that Mikrotik ARE NOT CERTIFIED for use in the USA by the FCC.
Is this correct?

At what training? What product? All products imported in the USA are FCC certified.

This is not correct. You can search the FCC database to see proof. For example, FCC ID of DynaDish (to name on example): TV7DYNADISHGAC

its may apply to "not targeted to NA/USA" products, but more usually(cuz most of then - comply with FCC in any respects, as with NSA are) its simply competing companies FUD/BS, spreaded thry press/mass-media and portion of double-вealeing "trainers" among them.
p.s. its would b cool if MT say "f you !!" to NA market, but its not happen and make no sense. yet.

Let me first say - IT WAS NOT the trainer.
He actually stated he thought they were - but I figured let me ask.

Butch Evans normally steers folks in the right direction... but I felt it was wise to ask just in case especially since we have more companies beginning to use our services daily to support their networks.

Good call on looking at the FCC database - (duh... i should have thought of that...)

thanks for the quick replies.
