After 5 years of service my 450G routerboard suddenly died – great.
Bulging capacitors C830 and C826 (each 560 uF) had to be replaced
(with 1000/6.3 V which were simply at hand). Now back in business again.
There is a further 330 uF/35 input capacitor which is not bulging (yet).
Can it be trusted (same „manufacturer“ su’scon) or should it too be
replaced in the course of preventive maintenance?
List of capacitor data for ordering replacements which hopefully will be no fakes:
2x 560 uF/6.3 V, low ESR, 105 deg. C, lead spacing 5 mm, dia. 8 mm, height 13 mm (max. 15 mm),
1x 330 uF/35 V, low ESR, lead spacing 2.5 mm, 105 deg. C, dia. 10 mm, height 13 mm (max. 15 mm)
Happy soldering….
