I was just configuring my newest CPEs, some SXT5 Lite AC.
And somwhere along the way I suddenly realised it had not made a single beep during boot!
I tried to enable boot sounds in terminal, it let me set the setting, but still no sound at the next reboot!!??
Do these new units not have "Beeper" anymore???
And if that is the case, WHY NOT??
The beeper is the perfect tool when we do support over telephone for our endcustomer, as both customer as we directly can hear if CPE boots or not! It would be VERY SAD if MT are removing bootsounds for some reason on new products!!!
Ill gladly pay the extra cents the beeper costs, even in lite versions(If thats the reason??)!!!
