I've got an RBGPOE injector which I tried to use to provide power for an RB912UAG-2HPnD board without success.
Both RBGPOE and RB912UAG-2HPnD appear to be working good by themselves:

1. This RB912UAG-2HPnD works just fine when PoE is provided via an RB260GSP.
2. This RB260GSP also works fine when powered via the same RBGPOE which does not work with RB912.
3. Everything works fine even when RB912 is powered using the RB260GSP which in turn is powered using the RBGPOE.

The power supply used is the one that came with RB260GSP (24V, 2.5A).

Has anyone seen anything similar? Any clue why RBGPOE may not be able to power the RB912 board?

does the problem with the shielded cable also affect the RB912?

I use RBGPOE to power RB912-2HnD + R11E-5HnD - I run both radios at 21dB. I use unshielded cat5e cable, distance approx 12m.

System is stable and running for more than 1 year now.

I'm currently powering 4x RB912UAG-2HPnD + R11e-5HacD using a single RB260GSP. While ordering, I looked through the datasheets for the equipment, and was concerned that RB260GSP's power supply might not be powerful enough to provide power for all four of these APs and switch itself, so I ordered an additional RBGPOE with an additional power supply. I'm running these units indoors with low power (20dBm for 5GHz and 15 dBm for 2GHz), so each AP consumes roughly 4W only, and a single RB260GSP is more then enough to power all of them without problem. So, I'm not seriously affected by this RBGPOE issue, just wanted to check if it's (possibly) something well known.
