Powering CCR with Netonix 48VH 1,5A POE?

Tue Apr 05, 2016 6:17 pm

Hello, I recently aquired a Netonix WS-12-250-DC Switch.
Here are the Spec Sheets:
https://www.netonix.com/media/wysiwyg/ws-specsheet.pdf

I'm actually using it powering a CCR-1009-8G-1S-1S+ with 48V 0.75A pins 4,5(+) 7,8(-), but I'm not sure that power budget (~35W) will do when using it passing full traffic.
My question is: can I power it using 48VH? (48VH being: PoE Ports 48VH 1.5A pins 1,2,4,5(+) 3,6,7,8(-))

Thank you!!
Andrés.

35W is fine when full use. If you look at the CCR system health it will tell you how many watts it is using. Run a benchmark and if it freezes that means you dont have enough power but make sure that all NICs and CPU are being used and that the fans are running before you try adding more power.

Did you have any issues on 48V after? or did you try 48VH?
