Hi, I have problems with my ONT Alcatel-Lucent O-010S-P, I can't even connect by SSH. I have tried 192.168.1.10, among others, but there is no ping.
Does anyone know this model, and if it is compatible?

My model ONT G-010S-P responds to pings in Mikrotik. Please check my steps.

1. Assign sfp1 as WAN interface (it will remove sfp1 from the bridge)

2. G-010S-P and other models will not expose ethernet interface unless fiber cable is connected (link-ok, rate 1Gbps)

Hi,

My provider is outside of Spain. It is Telekom (T-Com) in Montenegro. A part of Deutsche Telekom. Do You know anything about the modules I asked in a few previous posts? Nobody is willing to reply about.

No, I only saw here that some people successfully running the Modul in Spain by modifying the PON LOID and Serial number to the values used from the provider. Since my provider is Movistar I ask about your provider.
I had contact to hilink they want technical details and after that no reply.

Ok, I want to get rid of my zisa. In order to make it work here I would need to use its command line interface and I don't want to learn anymore how to do that. I need almost a plug n play option. What is Your offer?

The ZIsa is working. Total work hours about 6. Nothing changed, not even the firmware. The factory firmware is in it. However, the best I can do is 40 + 17 shipping to Spain. If You want the same brand new module like ZISA, please find it here https://www.aliexpress.com/item/33014127133.html. For what I could investigate with my chinese friends, this module is absolutely the same as zisa and is was also produced and designed by the same factory T&W.

You was rigth @JeanPierre, the correct IP was 192.168.2.2. After configure NAT masquerade for sfp1 I can login with user: ONTUSER and password: SUGAR2A041

That's the good news, the bad news is I can't configure anything once logged in. Nothing is displayed about the busybox and commands like onu gtcpg don't work.
Also it runs extremely slow, even when writing, becoming apparently frozen.

It's not fully working yet and don't appear to work correctly with the G-010S-P (kernel panic, root= not found) but if we managed to fix this then we might be able to have a netconsole uboot working and it will be much easier to test firmware

other chip is atheros but i cant see the model
in the back have a chip k24c06 1546cdx and 25l95 1707 22649

I'm from Uruguay and our ISP use similar tecnology to Spain, in consecuence I guess I can use some GPON module.

What module are working now?

Is impossible to find Zisa module, but I read few post upper, CM5671A is equivalent... But is very expensive only for an experiment, because I can't found information online about it.
Carlitoxx's module is out of stock since an year now.

MA5671A is very affordable and I understand work well. Isn't problem for my solder the EEPROM and read it. I have got a R809F with the correct sockets.

My advice?
Intel/Lantiq 98035 if you are not afraid of programming and, for some modules, soldering. They sometimes appear on Canadian(ebay.ca) or Italian(ebay.it) national ebay websites.
I forgot to add that Intel chip 98035 has LAN interface that can be switched from 1 Gbps to 2.5 Gbps. Important for users whose ISPs offer higher speeds than 1Gbps. This applies only to modules with OpenWRT(sgmii_mode variable is set to 5)
The best Intel/langiq module was sold by CarlitoxxPro and Hilink. Unfortunately, they don't have them in stock. Since HL23446 firmware is available I will try to load it on my g-010s-p sfp module and see how it works!

For the rest, probably DFP-34G-2C2. It has a rich web interface. The module is available under different names but the casing has a distinctive appearance. Just look at the photos from previous posts. It says "PON STICK V01" on the board. A large number of these modules are available on aliexpress in the "anddear" shop
A few users here have these modules but we have not enough reports on how they work. The modules may not work with ISP's who check software versions.

CHECKCODE(LOID PASSWORD) - 1-12 characters

If the firmware supports LOID authentication LOID+CHECKCODE parameters can be updated by changing two variables: omci_loid and omci_lpwd
fw_setenv omci_loid xxxxxxxxxxxxx
fw_setenv omci_lpwd xxxxxxxxxxxx
If LOID is disabled in the firmware try alternative software from CarlitoxxPro CPGOS03-0490

Hi everyone,
I'm a GPON SFP ONU user in China, which is the country of most SFP hardware producing country.
According to what I know, most SFP use TW2312 as master chip (like Zisa OP151s,TW2312H-CDEL), which is manufacted by T&W, Shenzhen, China.
I have Zisa OP151s, TW2312H-CDEL and I believe CM5671A they all have same hardware.
Unfortunately most of them are end of life and the developer group was dismissed.

The problem I have is my SFP don't support some OMCI command. This makes it available to some ISPs, but not others.
I'd like to try your firmwares to workout a solution.

By the way, a former engineer of T&W create a new SFP ONU which use Realtek master chip, support GPON, EPON, SN, snid, loid, MAC, with only $38.

As mentioned above,ZTE is another manufacturers in China. As far as I am concerned, The framwork of ZX279125 is not same as lantiq.
What are your specific problems?

By the way, a former engineer of T&W create a new SFP ONU which use Realtek master chip, support GPON, EPON, SN, snid, loid, MAC, with only $38.

Can you share a photo or name of the new SFP ONU with Realtek chip?

Unfortunately it is only sold in mainland of China and the price goes up recently. Please refer here (interest irrelevant)
It is incompatible with CCR's SFP+. Only a few PCIe card tested and compatible, too.
So it is about $52+$32 postage with Universal Postal Union if you really want.
By the way, I really don't think it's worth it. A S/EPON modem with gigabytes port only $40 with shipping.

ODI said bridge mode is not allowed by ZTE's warrant. Sorry.

A friend send me one of this sfp and I did some dig.
IT IS BRIDGED BY DEFAULT like a SFU, just don't create any connect in WAN Connection page.
It works with one of my ISP but not another, same like Lantiq.
It is not work with CCR1009's SFP+, only SFP works.

I'm fully noob with Mikrotik but after a couple of hours I logged in to the SFP via SSH.
My SFP need the fibber connected, the default IP is 192.168.1.10, credentials are root / admin123
After this I tried set my serial number and password without luck. The commands fw_setenv didn't work... But I found the command "set" work, but I don't know the name of the variables (I tried with "print" and other words like this)
I don't find manual or similar, commands like help or man are disable too... But I found this log.

Sorry.
Huawei design it is to configurate from olt, not for separate work. So there is no official manual for commands.

Dasan H650SFP is a product form Koera and SC/APC connecter is widely used in Korea, which is different from HL23446.
BTW, I'm not familiar with Korea. Just for your reference.

I have also a MA5671 flashed with HL23446 firmware.

I didn't tried with the original firmware but (like yours) PLOAM state is 1.

Did you solve your problem?

I confirm my SFP accept set nDyingGaspEnable enable/disable.
Obvisly the problem is the firmware, I can't configure anything or modify the variables without documentation. Next month I will receive a new programmer to dump the EEPROM. Maybe change the firmware could be a solution for me.
I can't connect directly to the SFP from the LAN, buy I'm not Mikrotik expert, is my first time... I don't understand how to bridge the networks 192.168.1.0/24 and 192.168.88.0/24.

after checking that image in carlitoxx facebook looks like Dfp-34g-2c2 sfp module (the cage have the same screws and look the same.) this is a new chipset (ZTE) but the question is about the firmware... its going to be openwrt or custom firmware?

Any guide on how to de-brick it? It looks like I should power it with 3.3V and reach the UART pins inside (probably while keeping the SC/APC connected since it wont power on otherwise)

Also, any cheap recommended GPON stick. Carlitoxxpro and Zisa sticks seem unavailable.

It's easy if you have a TTL adapter connected to pins 2 and 7. Look at the instructions how to make or buy one written for MA5671A in the openwrt forum. Most of them should apply in this scenario..

Hi guys, Ubiquiti have released a new SFP GPON ONU stick called "UFiber Instant (UF-Instant)".

According to its specifications, it has SGMII Ethernet LAN interface. Would this allow working with the SFP+ connection for RB4011? It would be great if someone confirms it. I am a happy owner of a RB4011iGS+5HacQ2HnD-IN, working in harmony with a UFiber Nano G, but I'm curious to know if this new UFiber Instant would work with my RB4011.

Also, if its has the same web interface as its brothers UFiber Nano G & Loco, it should work with Movistar and other ISPs that work nice with UFiber. Except of course, VLAN2 for IPTV on Movistar ....

EDIT: Sorry, I was wrong. Reading instructions for use, this UFiber Instant has no web interface and is configured from a Ubiquiti OLT. It will not work for any Spanish ISP. My fault for not read the instructions for use before...

So I managed to open my bricked (Nokia) Alcatel-Lucent G-010S-P. I found four empty pads on the board, hopefully the UART pins that I am looking for. Now, I have two questions:
  • Does anybody know the correct pinout? At least, can anybody confirm if these are the UART pins I am looking for?
  • Which soldering iron should I get for this kind of miniature soldering?

The UART contacts I am aware of are connected to pins 2 and 7. On the openwrt forum, bmx39 and minhng99 shared photos of their adapters.

Restoration of the G-010S-P module is simple. After connecting the adapter, just send the mtd2 and mtd5 firmware from the u-boot level. Our u-boot is factory unlocked. We don't have to jump over obstacles like the owners of the MA5671A module. Remember not to destroy the mtd1 partition that contains the u-boot variables calibrated for this module.
