Version 6.39rc38 has been released.

Changes since previous version:
!) routeros - added support for new products and RouterOS features which will be announced at MUM EU (https://mum.mikrotik.com/2017/EU/info/EN);
*) capsman - fixed "/caps-man manager interface" compact export;

If you experience version related issues, then please send supout file from your router to support@mikrotik.com. File must be generated while router is not working as suspected or after crash.

I am wishfully thinking that any new wAP has an externally visible RGB LED. They could even have a light-pipe in the shape of the Mikrotik ((

This could be used to display the status of the WAP, e.g.:

Light Green for operational in stand-alone mode
Dark Green for operational as a CAP
Purple for disconnected in CAP mode
Red for booting/not operational

This is particularly useful for seeing what state an AP is in from a distance, e.g. when it is mounted to the roof of an auditorium, or up high under the eaves of a building.

My guesses for EU MUM announcements are:

- More info on CRS3xx line of switches, possibly new models announced.
- Refreshes of some older mipsbe products with newer mmips processor.
- Usability and workflow improvements to RouterOS
- A wAP update with support for automatic encryption of CAPSMAN communications using HW crypto (mmips)
- VDSL SFP module

What im hoping for:

- 802.3at/af PoE switches (come on guys)
- A lot of improvements to switching, G.8032v2, UI improvements
- More ARM based routers, you just teased us with the RB3011!
- All the things promised for RouterOS v7

- Of course NV3 or some other way to make 802.11ac perform in a multipoint environment would be nice, but is unlikely.

I don't see a model name for 802.11ad, so even if it is announced, it might just take until 2018 regardless of what they say (remember hAP ac)

There is no sign something is happening with outdoor wireless. I see improvements with plain 802.11 but nothing which makes WISPs happy.
All the main competitors have gps sync running or have first betas running. So imho this train left station.

I don't think it can handle car battery, you would be talking about small 7AH battery max. To charge car battery you will need around 10A charging current, you will burn cat5 cable if you will try to send such current over poe.

60GHz has a problem with oxygen and humidity. You will not see more than half a mile with acceptable availability. This is with available wifi based 60GHz gear so I guess it will be roughly the same.

RB1100AHx4 no sfp+?

mUPS love the idea but you need extra case for battery!?! extra cabling,12v .... cable length limited, mUPS is for outdoor use so why no bigger case just to fit one 7Ah battery...also if u use extra case for battery it must be close to mUPS (max 3m /12V) and be really careful where battery case is mounted, not to be exposed to sun light.

mUPS should look something like Tesla PoweWall - 24V battery connector and bigger case to fit 2 small (7.5Ah) battery - input should be 24-40V so you can also attach solar panel as alternative.

I expected more; wsAC lite, ltAP. LtAPmini, hap mini, wap LTE Kit,bla bla mini these are just a bunch of wifi routers, power box->hex poe, 8 and 24 PoE out switch - these are offered by tp-link and ubnt 2 years ago. Sorry for my sarcasm.

wAP 60G 100m - like it if its very cheep...
LHG 60G - no details ?!? It's 60GHz up to 1.5km.....Ok I m going to shut my mount...

AHx4 > CCR1009 in single-threaded (one core) tasks, but AHx4 < CCR1009 in a well-parallelizable (multi core) tasks.

Do you have any kind of expected price range? we are already using 60GHz for short distances where are other frequencies are full, and proffesional radio is out of budget.

Yes, you will be able to use it as an AP for Wi-fi inside the bus. Yes, you can use the scripts to read the GPS information form the RouterOS.
