In the brochure: "It uses passive cooling and is absolutely quiet."

We have updated the product page with a photo that shows the board underneath the metallic HDD holder.

That one electrolytic capacitor killed me, on an otherwise perfect MikroTik board.
Sooner or later PSUs are somewhat interchangeable, boards are not.
I am looking for, are there any MikroTik routers or switches that:
- have passive cooling/low power consumption
- lack electrolytic capacitors on the board
- have decent power supply?

I know about the hAP lite, wAP and some of the 5GHz outdors stuff but i need something bigger (router/switch) to set and forget.
It doesn't have to have PoE and variable voltage input.
Any price range.

Thank you Normis.

This seems really nice. I still haven't seen any board pictures, but those three conditions is what I need.
Is this device available for sale and are there any more devices that meet my three conditions (no fan, no electrolytes, durable PSU) but have 10-12 ethernet ports?

Here are internals of this passive-cooling model: https://mikrotik.com/product/CCR1009-7G-1C-PC

The bigger one I linked to before has fans, but has dual PSU. This one has external PSU, but is passive cooled. You can achieve power failover if you use PoE-input and DC input at the same time.

I believe all our products in this category have a few capacitors.

The RB1100AHx4 devices will work in ambient temperatures from -40C to +70C. We have updated the brochure to reflect that.
