Changing NAND and licenses

Sat Nov 25, 2017 4:18 pm

I have RB951-2n that worked for few years OK, and than happens to be unresponsive, drops packets, drops wireless and so on. After reboot it works OK for some time, and than CPU goes high to 100% and became unresponsive.
Analyzing that problem, I discovered bad blocks in NAND, over 4% and increasing. I tried to reinstall with netinstall, repartition it, but bad blocks continues to appear and is increasing (with reinstall drops for a little, but than it quickly increases with few days).

So, I would like to change NAND chip, but as I can see here on forum, it will invalidate L4 licence that I have on RB. Is there any procedure with Mikrotik support that allows rehosting valid license to another NAND?

Hi, 4% bad blocks is not important number.... maybe you have another trouble.

Have updated ROS and bios?
