Is there a 5V DC output on RB433 AH?

Sun Feb 18, 2018 5:34 pm

Hi there
is there anywhere a 5V DC output on the PCB of a RB433 AH?
I would want use it to power a RapsberryPi2 (400-500 mA 5V DC needed).
RB433AH would be powered through 24v DC PoE.

Anyone ideas?

Use dc converter. Easy, cheap and reliable.

We use DC converters on our HAM radio repeater sites to power some Raspberry Pi's
and never experience any problems with it. Most of these converters can handle
upto 24/30 volts on their inputs... but to be sure, always check the specs before you
apply power to it...
