RB750Gr3 boot loop

Mon Mar 12, 2018 7:39 pm

It seems that this router was supplied with too little flash, it bricked itself after updating since it would not apply configs and it would still stay in a boot loop even after using netinstall. It still boot loops after using netinstall with the firmwares.

Even my old RB450G has more storage space than this for sufficient for firmware updates.

Put there only those packages you really need. Even the storage is small, it is big enough to accommodate necessary packages. Try netinstall again...

I would not be posting here if it didn't work I did netinstall with only the system package that was 6MB and that still did not work. I have already tried every method I could except using a much older netinstall.

Then return it in warranty to your dealer and get the replacement.

Yup, the internal flash is big enough and nobody complain about it. If it become brick during update, usually it is due to user error/mistake.
