So as a result of recent lightning storm several of my devices are either dead or in semi-working condition.

One of the devices is the RB2011UiAS-2HnD-IN - it boots, but WiFi signal is extremely weak and only usable if I'm standing right next to the RB. Other damage includes the LCD screen not working at all, and the tweeter is dead too (so no boot sound etc). Internal inspection doesn't show any visible damage.

What I tried so far is reset / restore and power adapter replacement neither of which helped.

I already ordered replacement RB but I really like this particular device so I'm looking for help to either try to repair it and restore the lost functionality, or, as a last resort - some suggestions for use cases in its current state (which is basically - a switch or a wired-only router).

Any ideas?:)

It is better for you to seek help from specialists involved in the repair of this type of radio equipment.

I'd use it as managed switch. I'm actually using RB2011 as switch for CCR1009. You could try to revive this device using usb wifi dongle. Or perhaps use it as 3g backup gateway (assuming USB still works).

You may also use this device for various scripting and network monitoring / diagnose though lack of beeper kind of makes it less useful for such case.

I'd be a bit afraid to use it though. I mean idk, it could easily become fire hazard tbh.
