What's new in 6.34 (2016-Jan-29 10:25):
*) mipsle - architecture support dropped (last fully supported version 6.32.x);
Suport for MIPSLE architecture was dropped 2 years ago.

I am running 6.32.4 on couple of my old 532A boards. You can download old version from the archive: https://mikrotik.com/download/archive
I did that way ..but the routerboard still with its old software ( no upgrading )I was a long time ago, but one thing I remember is I bricked the device by installing newer version than supported. That's how I found out about this EoL situation.
Since you can not use auto-update feature, you have to manually upload software packet to your RB532.
1. Download software package from https://download.mikrotik.com/routeros/ ... 6.32.4.npk
2. Drag and drop that file to you router via Winbox
3. Restart the router
1- the first step = failedAlright, try couple of steps then.
First go for version 5.26
Then 6.27
Then the one linked previously.
If you can not install 5.26 this way, then I'm guessing you will have to learn how to use Netinstall application (another way of installing MikroTik software).
I am guessing you are trying to use the same package files that you have upgraded RB4xx with to upgrade your RB532. You can't do that. RB532 has a different CPU architecture than RB4xx, so you need to download the appropriate package file for that CPU architecture, not just re-use the same one you already downloaded for your RB433.
The MikroTik download page clearly spells out what file needs to be downloaded for which RB model.
If you are sure that you have the mipsLe package for your 532, and aren't trying to use the mipsBe package that you used for the 433, then after reboot, check the system log and it will tell you why it failed to update.

mipsle is the name of the architecture, or the name of the CPU family
you can only use packages that are made for the specific CPU. mipsle is for your device.
