What is possible: when you put your WiFi interface in a separate subnet (not member of a bridge) you can use the LCD to disable the address of the interface, which will effectively disable the WiFi.
Of course the SSID will still be visible but it cannot be used for network access anymore.
It would be nice when there was a screen on the LCD where you could add buttons that run a script. Then you could add a button that disables/enables the interface itself.
That would be a feature request. I don't know how much priority it would get, as most models now have no LCD anymore.
