PoE In, Hex Lite

Wed Nov 21, 2018 5:12 pm

Hi, I have a HEX lite with PoE In on the Ether1 interface.

I have connected the Ether1 interface to a PoE port on my Netgear switch and the HEX Lite does not turn on.

I've tried it with a HEX and either.

The netgear switch is compatible with 802.2af, with a maximum of 15w per port.

Would anyone know how to tell me why they do not light the Mikrotik?

Thank you.

hEX lite is passive PoE device, it's not 802.3af compatible.

Passive only and 24v at that. I thought Netgear "only" did 48v PoE
