In this case you should configure wireless to only use non-DFS channels (channels 32-48, 5160 MHz to 5240 MHz). When wireless is operating on DFS channels, it is obliged to stop any trasmission if it detects possible radar signal. It has to monitor the channel for a minute and if it doesn't detect another "suspicious" activity, it can resume operation. The problem for many devices is to filter radar signals from other activity and thus they suffer from frequent positive mis-detections.

It is possible that device detects own activity as possible radar signal ... specially if device is placed close to reflective surface (metallic structure, concrete wall, ...). Sometimes moving device by 10 centimetres (a few inches) helps with this problem.

You dig out a year-old thread to add a useless response. This issue is resolved which can be seen by multiple people deploying 4011s daily. The only “self-disabling” wlan1 issue as of now is due to DFS, which is by design.
Don’t spread FUD unless you have some proof to that.

Actually I have hAP ac² running 6.48.5 having the same issue for 2GHz suddenly stopping. This is now the second time its happened. The interface won't change back to running and instead is stuck "initializing". Scan, freq usage, snooper etc do not respond.

I encountered the same problem on a hAP ac² running 6.49.6 (the latest 6.x version at this time) and opened a ticked at Mikrotik support. I suggest you do the same.
In the meantinme, I will post here any helpful information.

Hi
I noticed the same issue with hap ac2 on the ROS6 latest stable version 6.49.6. Radio 2GHz stops working and 5Ghz at the same time is OK. Disabling/enabling radio does not help.

Same problem with hAP ac2 (6.48.6 (long-term)) and 2GHz wifi. Subjectively, it all started after adding a slave interface and a client with WPA PSK+AES authorization (not WPA2+AES)
