Does anyone know if Mikrotik has any plans to release a higher end version of this product? A lot of things look great, but unfortunately we have done several tests with Homeplug and found AV200 to be completely insufficient for our applications. Need minimum AV1000. Would like to see a second product with gigabit ethernet and dualband wireless. Would easily pay triple, if not more, for such a product. This should be very doable. TP-Link offers a dualband AC1200 AV2000 KIT that can be found for under $100. I expect the mikrotik product to cost at least double, as there is added functionality and benefits to having router OS, and the production difference from what TP-Link sells to Mikrotik for this particular product.

Would be indeed nice, the fact that the current devices only do 2.4 GHz is an immediate non-starter for me.
