I am using a mikrotik router RB951g since 1 year it was working perfectly.
Some days ago i the morning my internet was not workimg. When i troubleshoot it i obserce that my isp router is working fine but i can't acessinternet from mikrotik router. Then i ping it but is showed me an odd behaviour some packets shows request timout some shows unreachable and spme shpws no routes.
I am not able to access winbox from both lan and wan interface. It shows in neibours list for a fewseconds but can't connect.
Only i can access winbox from wifi. Accessing from wifi i again ping isp router and again same behaviour.
I have done every thing with it but no succes. I have hardreset it, flash it and alot more thinds but nothing hapened.
Then i unplug it an threw it in my drawer.
After some days i again tried to connect and i wondoer to see every thing working fine. I was very happy. I backed up old configuration and it start working and i slept.
In the next mprning it was again in that condition. now i messed up.
Now i observed that after 1 or tow days it works forsome hours and again goes in that state.
Experts please guide me if it is ahardware ofsoftware isse.

Looks like you are not firewalling your router, and it gets hacked.

1. Google for Netinstall
2. Set new strong Password
3. Set Konfig new from scratch/ no backup
4. read about firewalling

I have done all these things.
Can u explain what kind of firewall rules u r talking about.
