DAC cables on CCR1036-12G-4S not working.

Tue Jan 29, 2019 11:46 pm

Hello,

We've been trying to make the 10GE SFP interface work, but have had no luck. We are using 2 different DAC cables, one of them Mikrotik, and neither work.
The interfaces are configured as 10GE full duplex non-negotiate, but for some reason they default to operating in 1GE rate.

Code: v6.43.8 (stable)

[admin@MikroTik] /interface ethernet> print detail
Flags: X - disabled, R - running, S - slave

CCR1036-12G-4S is gigabit only - not 10G ports.
Manages some CCR's, RB750Gr3, RB922 and wAP's

for 10g you want to have the "S+" ports
