Can I use the data connectivity (e.g. to plug in disk storage) to the mAP lite's USB socket, if I use a powered hub perhaps?

I used one and it didn't work. It doesn't show up a USB memory stick or a 4G USB stick :(

The same cable worked to let me read a USB memory stick on my Android phone though.

is this still true? I can see that map lite and cap lite boards are likely the same. Cap lite has usb fully functional: https://mikrotik.com/product/RBcAPL-2nD-307
